Mother’s Day Gift Ideas

I am tempted to paraphrase Miranda Priestley by drawling, ‘A Mother’s Day post? Groundbreaking! But honestly, I know that there are many children and spouses who will leave this to the eleventh hour, so if you’d like to help them through their last minute panic, here are a few psoriasis-friendly suggestions that might just point them in the right direction!
The make-up that everyone is raving about right now – Charlotte Tilbury. It seems the lady can do no wrong, so how about this rather beautiful Colour Coded Eye-Shadow Palette?
If perfume is more your thing, then Debenhams are currently offering 10% off all perfumes for Mother’s Day, so it’s a good time to stock up on old favourites such as Marc Jacobs, Daisy eau de parfum.
While we’re talking about Marc Jacobs, I don’t think anyone would say no to this rather pretty Crystal Embellished Bracelet? A bit of designer bling without the eye-watering price tag!
Pixi Glow Tonic is a hero product for so many women, myself included! I also know of lots of ladies who have psoriasis on their faces, yet still swear by this toner. A definite ‘must-have’ or your toiletry bag.
Bargain of the season is this fully lined, waffle weave, white blazer from Primark for just €25. I hunted it down and can vouch for its quality. A wardrobe staple for any lady who has psoriasis.
And if they’re really broke? Send them off to Aldi where they can pick up this rather gorgeous Twin Stem Orchid for less than a tenner. I used to fret about how to care for orchids and the best advice I received was ‘ignore them’. So that’s what I do and I now have two that have flourished for the past number of years despite only receiving water sporadically!
And finally, the best bargain of all, is the Cocoa Brown Kind Shampoo and Conditioner which I have been raving about for the past year. I never use anything else in my hair now and if your scalp is causing you issues, I cannot recommend this highly enough. €3 a bottle … you won’t get a better deal than that!

However you decide to spend it, have a lovely Mother’s Day!
